We begin our climbing experience to the highest peak of Mount Olympus, following a path of constantly changing natural landscapes. This excursion is aimed at real nature-lovers and people who love walking tours.

1st and 2nd day

Departure from Thessaloniki (Guests’ accommodation)

We will begin the ascent of Olympus from the central square of the mountain village of Litochoro, heading via the famous mountain shelter Prionio, located at an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level. Following the European walking route E4, in the evening we will get to the “Agapitos” refuge at around 2100 meters. Here we will have a rest and stay for the night. With the first rays of the sun of the coming day, we will begin conquering the two peaks of Olympus Mitikas and Scolio. You will truly enjoy the spectacular view from the highest point in Greece.

Next, we will begin our descent stopping at the “Agapitos” refuge. At around 15:00 we will reach the shelter Prionio, and from there we will take a well-earned rest in comfortable vehicles for the journey to Litochoro.

Now we await a unique invitation to the world of tastes from chef Andreas Gavris. We will try delicious dishes, made using only natural traditional products of Olympus.  In addition, we will be offered a wide range of wines, both Greek and well-known international wine brands. What do you say?

This is where our amazing journey ends, and we set off on our way back to beautiful  Thessaloniki. Unforgettable impressions and positive emotions from a perfect hike will be an incentive for new conquests and accomplishments!
