Itineraries
Day 1
We will depart for Aristi, Epirus and start our tour with a gentle hike along the Voidomatis river. Our route follows the trail from the Aristi Bridge to the Klidonia Bridge. The hike takes place right in the heart of the Vikos-Aoos National Park, surrounded by captivating scenery and natural beauty. On the way, we will make a stopover to the chapel of Agioi Anargyroi, built in the 16th century. A rewarding lunch at the square of the village awaits, to taste dishes with exquisite local products accompanied by fine wines. We will return to the hotel and get some free time to rest. Overnight stay at Aristi/Ano Pedina.
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel, we will follow a hiking trail starting from the village of Kipi, to admire the renowned interconnected paths of the villages of Zagori, filled with majestic traditional stone bridges from the 15th - 16th century. On the way, we will visit the Folklore Museum of the village Koukouli, which exhibits pharmaceutical plants found in the area. After this enjoyable hike we will enjoy a savory lunch in Elati, Zagori. Get a taste of the cuisine of Epirus in a wide range of traditional dishes made with local products and fine wines, while gazing at the view of the Pindus Mountain Range. Return to Thessaloniki.
