Follow us on a long day trip in the most famous cultural monuments in Greece. During the first day of our trip, we will visit the ancient theatre and the archeological site of Epidaurus. We will have a short stop in the Corinth Canal and we will also visit the archeological site of Mycenae. The second day of our tour we will have the opportunity to meet the archeological site of Ancient Olympia and visit the traditional mountain village of Arachova. It is the most cosmopolitan winter destination in Greece, a great favourite for passionate ski lovers and celebrities, or just first-time visitors who wish to relax in a dreamy mountainous setting with modern tourism facilities.
During the third day of our tour the archeological site and the museum of Delphi will be our reference point. Leaving back the most important oracle of the ancient Greek world- Delfi- we will head straight for Meteora and Kalambaka’s region. During the forth day of our memorable trip, we will visit some of Metora’s great monasteries. The extraordinary rock formations of the Meteora region would be an unmissable tourist attraction even if they weren’t crowned by Byzantine monasteries. A little before we return to Athens we will have a stop so as to visit the heroic monument of Leonidas at Thermopylae, a place whose name became synonymous with sacrifice and bravery. Greek flavors and local dishes will be an integral part of our long day trip.
