One day Tour in Pella – Vergina – Veria

We have created a tour to take you on a unique journey back in time. Our day will be spent unfolding the past glory of the ancient Macedonian kingdom with a tour of its ancient cities. Our first stop is the city of Pella, the ancient capital of the kingdom and also the birthplace of Alexander the Great. We are going to visit the archeological site, as well as the new museum, the Polycentric Museum of Aigai, where priceless ancient findings are exhibited. Next stop of our tour is Vergina, where there are invaluable archeological findings and the tomb of Philip II, father of Alexander the Great. Lastly, we will visit the old city of Veria and the traditional Jewish Quarter. The epilogue of our trip will be a meal experience in traditional restaurant in Veria. We return to Thessaloniki late in the afternoon.
